yet another PSA from the fandom police that no one asked for, flaunting the ability to use now-hollow buzzwords to judge the way others fangirl/fanboy.
I don’t know about anyone else but that kind of stuff just makes me want to write the woobiest fic ever about Walder Frey and Ramsay Bolton and Joffrey all weeping like pale lilies over their miserable lots in life.

And god it is such a hollow buzzword. Right along with Mary Sue.
What’s funny is, it’s usually used by the same people who decry the use of the word “Mary Sue” because it’s unfair to female characters.
(ASOIAF fandom and the trend of hating male characters because of the dudebro element of fandom’s poor treatment of female characters is an entire other tangent, but yeah…)
